This option can be used to enter the correct beginning balance of an existing account. If this option is used, the beginning balance of the Cash Account will be modified in the reverse direction. For example, if an owner account is given a beginning balance of $200.00 then $200.00 will be subtracted from the Cash Account beginning balance. Every transaction in the system always updates two accounts. The system does not allow a single account balance to be changed. For this reason, the beginning balance of the Cash Account can only be set by InCompass personnel.
