Client Configuration

Depending on your association with other racetracks in the area, your track could be an individual client, or a member of a group client.  Individual tracks, would not use the Combined Balance feature.  Therefore it should be unchecked, and the Statement Heading information should be for your individual track.

For Group Client tracks, check the Combined Balance box.  The Statement Heading will be the Main Client name.  An example would be an HBPA Association.

Combined Balance Checkbox: If your track is a member of a Group client, when this box is checked, combined account balances from all tracks included in the Group will display when viewing a horsemen’s account in Horsemen Maintenance.

Statement Heading Line 1 thru 4:  These Statement Heading lines are used by the system when the user chooses to print statements for more than one facility.  Otherwise, the statement headings will print from the information entered on the Facility Configuration / Reports tab.

Default Statement Begin and End Date fields:  When printing statements from the “Transactions” menu, the starting and ending dates will be set to the default date.  The dates entered in these fields will be used as the default if the statements are printed for more than one facility.  If only one facility is printed, the “Default Statement Begin and End Dates” field from the “Facility Configuration” screen will be used.

Show Account Balance On Finder:  If checked, the Balance, Available Balance and On Hold Amount will display on the Scanner in Horsemen Maintenance.

Import Ownership Accounts From Racing:  If checked, during the Race Convert process, ownership breakdown information entered by the Racing office on their Horsemen Maintenance screen, will be imported into the Bookkeepers Horsemen Maintenance Ownership tab.

Transaction Lock Date:  If a date is entered here, transactions cannot be modified from the date entered back.  This field might be used to enter the date of the last audit.
