The Purse Split Maintenance screen defines how all purse monies are distributed to the owners based on the order of finish in a race. The screen contains multiple Purse Split Tables depending on the needs of each facility.
Breed Type: There can be different tables for each Breed Type, such as Thoroughbred, Quarterhorses, Standardbreds, Paints or Mules.
Split Type: There are individual tables for Normal races, (e.g. claiming, allowance), tables for State Fund Included or Plus, Stakes and Breeders’ Cup purse splits.
Runners: Some facilities will have the Number of Runners option on their screen. This field applies to track that pay ‘all the way back’. In the example below, the last two places each receive 1% of the purse.
