InActive Accounts

The Inactive Accounts process is a tool that can be used to mark unused accounts inactive.   The process will generate a list of accounts that have not had any transaction activity between the date range entered.  When the list is updated, all accounts on the list will become inactive.  The process can be run for individual or multiple account types.  We suggest the bookkeeper run this process once a year, using dates from two or three years previous to the current year.

NOTE:** If the report data is updated, ALL accounts that appear on the list WILL be marked InActive.
