The Default tab may contain different fields based upon the clients needs. Below is a sample of the most common choices.
Default Lasix Fee, Health Fee, Pony Fee, and Nomination Fee Checkboxes: If any of these items are being used at the time of Race Finish, the user can control how the system defaults their use. If the default should be to always charge the fee, place a check in the box. These options are applied during the Race Convert process and therefore must be set before converting the races.
Daily Transaction Sort Default: The two choices are: By Program Number, or By Finish Position. This will determine the sort order for race transactions on the Daily Transaction Report.
Check Printing Sort Default: The field will allow you to choose how checks appear on the grid when entered into the Generate Check screen. By Name will sort each new check request entered, and add it to the list in alphabetical order. The ' By Order Entry' sort option will keep each check requests in the sequential order.
Default Account Type: In Horsemen Maintenance, when creating a new account, the system will use the ‘Default Type’ defined here. Available choices are: Owner/Trainer, Owner, Trainer, Jockey, Stake, Control. To learn more about account types, see Horsemen Maintenance documentation.
