The Generate Tax Info menu option is used to generate taxable earnings for a specific tax year. This process can be run multiple times to re-calculate new tax amounts after changes have been made. If transactions are added, modified, or deleted, or any changes are made to the horsemen accounts, it is necessary to regenerate the taxable earnings.
Taxable amounts are calculated for all Transaction Codes that have been identified as Taxable in the Transactions Maint table. Each transaction code can be set as taxable for each account type.
Enter the year of the taxes you are processing and click the Generate
button.
After the tax amounts have generated a summary will appear on the screen.
