All farms participating in the Workmen's Comp program are charged 10% of their total employee payroll each year as a workers comp fee. Farms do not pay a fee for each start. The total of all Payroll Amounts entered on this screen will be the used to calculate the 'Total Annual Workmen's Comp Fee'.
Employee Type: This column will display the employee positions available on the farm.
Payroll Amount: Enter the 'total' amount of payroll paid out for each category. In the example above, there is one employee hired as an Assistant Trainer making $20,000 a year. There are two part-time office employees making $15,000 each listed in the 'Other' category for a total of $30,000.
