The Transaction Maintenance option is used to record activity not directly tied to a race. Examples of these types of transactions are deposits, photo charges, transfer, etc. Based on the type of transaction entered, the horsemen’s account will either be debited or credited with the activity with the offsetting entry against the racetrack’s cash or accounts payable account.
